Your provider says everything is filed. Qanun checks the acknowledgments and shows you which claims actually have proof.
Free · 10 minutes · No documents needed · Every report reviewed by a licensed UAE tax agent
Expat founders use Qanun to verify what their providers claim about
Figures are maximum statutory exposure if unremedied. Sources: Federal Decree-Law 47/2022; Cabinet Resolutions 57/2020 and 58/2020. See how a check works.
Provider said "done in 2024". No TRN on file, no FTA certificate anyone can produce.
Filed, according to the accountant. No portal acknowledgment. Also: ESR was abolished for years after 2022, and it is still on the invoice.
TRN confirmed on the FTA public register. Evidence attached to the report, dated.
250,000 new companies were registered in the UAE in 2025 alone, most of them founded by expats.
Corporate tax arrived in 2023. The e-invoicing mandate lands in 2026 to 2027. Obligations are compounding faster than founders' ability to verify them.
Qanun is not a dashboard you babysit. You enter the flow once, and the watchdog stays on. Here is the whole journey, from first answer to signed report.
Jurisdiction, activity, financial year, and the documents already sitting in your inbox: trade licence, TRN certificate, filing acknowledgments. Upload what exists. Skip what doesn't. A missing document becomes the first line of your report.
The obligation engine maps what applies to your specific company and grades each item: Verified against an acknowledgment or a permitted public register, Claimed when your provider says so but cannot show the artifact, Missing when nobody has touched it.
Leads with the number that matters, then every finding with its statute. Send it to your provider with one sentence: "please produce the acknowledgments." Reviewed by a licensed UAE tax agent, signed, bilingual, with a seal that closes only when everything is proven.
After the report, Qanun keeps a calendar of every obligation and speaks only when it matters: T-30, T-7, T-1 before each deadline, and immediately if a claim stops being provable. Free, after the report.
Nothing is wrong. This is what being watched feels like: quiet. We alert again at T-7 and T-1, and the moment anything in your file stops being provable.
Not sure what applies to your company? Run the check.
Start the free check"They always promised me everything was covered. It never was."
The penalty letter arrives first. Then you learn the returns were never filed, the person responsible has left, and nobody can produce an acknowledgment. Qanun's founder consulted on compliance for two of the UAE's largest banks, then paid fines worth two years of revenue this way. Almost every founder in the UAE is an expat, building in a country whose rules are not their own.
لا ادّعاء، بل إثبات
Acknowledgments on file, dated. Every filing your provider claims, with the proof or the gap.
A deadline calendar that is yours. It does not leave when the accountant does.
A report the next provider can read. Or the regulator. One sentence to send: "please produce the acknowledgment."
If we get something wrong, every affected report is re-issued free.
No subscription required to learn where you stand. The watchdog keeps guarding your deadlines after the report lands, free.
So nobody is surprised later.
The free check takes ten minutes and shows what might be missing, from your own answers. The Truth Report proves what actually is, against evidence. Every report is verified by hand, so the first cohort is capped at 20 companies. An AED 99 deposit holds your place: refundable until delivery, and it counts toward the AED 499.
Qanun exists because its founder lived the failure it fixes. He consulted on compliance for two of the UAE's largest banks, then watched his own provider silently skip filings while assuring him all was well. The fines arrived years later.
Every report is reviewed by a licensed UAE tax agent before it is signed. Qanun launched for Dubai DED and ADGM, the two jurisdictions where that story happened. More follow when the first hundred companies are proven.
We do not file, so we have no reason to say it was filed.
An item is Verified only against an acknowledgment or a permitted public register. Never against a promise. Self-reported answers are never marked Verified.
Exposure is stated as the statutory maximum if unremedied, and every figure sits beside the path that closes it.
Encrypted in transit and at rest, seen only by your reviewer, retained twelve months, deleted on request.
A company selling documentary truth dies on its first data failure. So these ship in version one, in the product and in every report.
No. Qanun is a technology platform that grades your compliance state against evidence and cites the governing statute for every figure. What to do about a gap is between you, your provider, and, where needed, a licensed advisor. Our report just ends the guessing.
About ten minutes, from memory, with no documents. "Not sure" is a fine answer; unsure is exactly what we measure. Your obligation map is emailed to you the moment you finish.
Free, no card, no signup beyond an email to send the map to. The catch, if you want one: the check grades your own answers, so it can never mark anything Verified. Verification against evidence is the paid report, and we say so on every screen.
Honestly: not everything is publicly checkable, and we refuse to pretend otherwise. Some items verify against public registers (like your TRN at the FTA). Most verify against acknowledgment artifacts your provider should hold. What cannot be evidenced is marked Claimed, and that marking is the product: it is the difference between "trust me" and "show me".
Then you get the best possible outcome: a signed report saying so, a seal that closes, and a watchdog on every future deadline. Around a third of specimen profiles we modelled had at least one unproven claim. The others walked away with signed proof that their setup is clean.
Mainland Dubai (DED) and ADGM companies now. Other free zones join as demand proves out. If your jurisdiction is not covered yet, you are waitlisted and any payment is refunded in full, immediately.
Because every report is verified by hand and reviewed by a licensed tax agent, we only take 20 companies in the first cohort. The AED 99 deposit holds your place in that queue. It counts toward the AED 499, and it refunds in full any time before your report is delivered, no questions asked.
Not directly. Qanun does not provide formation, immigration or banking services. If you are setting up, we introduce you to a licensed corporate service provider and we are paid a referral fee by them; your fees are the same either way. Qanun then stays on as the independent check after you launch. We never refer the remediation of a gap our own report found to a partner that pays us. Start the setup intake.
Encrypted in transit and at rest, seen only by your reviewer, retained twelve months, deleted on request within 7 days with written confirmation. The full commitment is printed in every report.
